The $chantypes identifier will return the supported list of channel prefix types available on the active network connection. If not connected, mIRC defaults to a standard value of #.

Note: Any active connection window can use this identifier, not just an active channel.

Parameters[edit]

None

Example[edit]

Echo the current available channel prefix types to the active window:

//echo -a $chantypes

Compatibility[edit]

Added: mIRC v5.9
Added on: 26 Apr 2001
Note: Unless otherwise stated, this was the date of original functionality.
Further enhancements may have been made in later versions.
