Template:mIRC menu The /remove command can be used to delete a file permanently or sends it to the recycle bin. The filename cannot be a wildcard pattern. This command prints "* Removed '<filename>'", to remove that message prefix the command with a dot (i.e. use /.remove).

Synopsis

/remove -b <filename>

Switches

  • -b - Send the file to the recycle bin

Parameters

  • <filename> - the file to remove

Example

; create and write to a file
/write foo.txt Hello There
 
; remove the file
/remove foo.txt
