Overview[edit]
The Ryzen Embedded family is a low-power variant of the Ryzen line that primarily targets graphics-driven embedded devices such as medical imaging, industrial systems, digital gaming and thin clients. Those parts have lower TDPs and offer configurable I/O for system designers.
Members[edit]
V1000 Series (Zen)[edit]
- See also: Great Horned Owl and Zen µarch
Introduced in early 2018, the V1000 embedded series is based on the Zen microarchitecture. Those models come in either dual-core or quad-core models with SMT and a Vega integrated graphics processor in package FP5. All models have the following features in common.
- Mem: Dual-channel 64-bit DDR4-3200 or DDR-2400 w/ ECC, up to 32 GiB
- I/O: 16 PCIe lanes, dual 10 Gigabit Ethernet, and four USB 3.1 Gen ports (two of which can be configured as Type-C with DisplayPort Alternate Mode PD). A few of the PCIe lanes can also be reconfigured as SATA ports (up to 2 ports).
- TDP:15 W / 45 W (with cTDP-up and cTDP-down options)
- ISA: Everything up to AVX2 (i.e., SMM, FPU, NX, MMX, SSE, SSE2, SSE3, SSSE3, SSE4.1, SSE4.2, AES, AVX, FMA3, and AVX2), and SHA
- Tech: Precision Boost, 2-way SMT, AMD-Vi, AMD-V, Secure Memory Encryption (SME), and Secure Encrypted Virtualization (SEV)
- L3$: 4 MiB
