Cherry Trail (formerly Cherry Trail T, CherryView) was the name of the core for Intel's generation of 14 nm tablet system on chip introduced in early 2015 as a replacement for Bay Trail T. Cherry Trail is part of Intel's the Airmont microarchitecture. Upon release, Cherry Trail was branded as the Atom x5 and Atom x7 families. Cherry Trail was set to be replaced by Broxton, but was later cancelled altogether.
