| − | Announced in early 2018, the Snapdragon 7 Series Mobile Platform is designed to offer models with high performance and key premium features that were previously only available in the high-end [[Snapdragon 8 Series]] family. In practice, this family now includes the high-end SKUs from the [[Snapdragon 6 Series]] with the 6 series effectively getting split up with the higher-end models getting updated as 7-series models and offering slightly more features. Some of the added features include advanced camera functionalities and Qualcomm's Artificial Intelligence Engine (AIE). | + | Announced in early [[2018]], the [[Snapdragon 7]] Series Mobile Platform is designed to offer models with high performance and key premium features that were previously only available in the high-end [[Snapdragon 8 Series]] family. |

Overview[edit]
Announced in early 2018, the Snapdragon 7 Series Mobile Platform is designed to offer models with high performance and key premium features that were previously only available in the high-end Snapdragon 8 Series family.
In practice, this family now includes the high-end SKUs from the Snapdragon 6 Series with the 6 series effectively getting split up with the higher-end models getting updated as 7-series models and offering slightly more features.
Some of the added features include advanced camera functionalities and Qualcomm's Artificial Intelligence Engine (AIE).
