Ryzen Embedded V2546 is a 64-bit hexa-core embedded x86 microprocessor introduced by AMD in November 2020. This processor is based on AMD's Zen 2 microarchitecture and uses a single monolithic die fabricated on a TSMC 7 nm process. The V2546 operates at a base frequency of 3 GHz with a TDP of 45 W and a boost frequency of up to 3.95 GHz. This model supports a configurable TDP-down of 35 W and TDP-up of 54 W.

Memory controller[edit]

This SoC features two memory controllers, each supporting DDR4 or LPDDR4x memory. In DDR4 mode the controllers support up to 64 GiB of 64-bit dual-channel memory, one DIMM per channel, with data rates of up to 3200 MT/s (25.6 GB/s per channel) and ECC. In LPDDR4x mode the controllers support up to 32 GiB of 32-bit quad-channel memory with data rates of up to 4266 MT/s (17.07 GB/s per channel).

The Ryzen Embedded V2546 supports up to 20 PCIe Gen 3 (8 GT/s) lanes configurable as one x8 and three x4 links, presumably also x2 and x1 links, with a maximum of 9 links total. Two x4 links can be configured as NVMe interface. Two SATA Gen 3 (6 Gb/s) ports are available and SATA Express is supported. Eight USB ports are available. Four ports support USB 3.1 (10 Gb/s) speeds, two of these support Type-C connectors with DisplayPort Alternate Mode and Power Delivery capability. Four additional ports are USB 2.0 compliant, The following low speed interfaces are available: 1 × 4-wire or 2 × 2-wire UART, 4 × I2C, 2 × SMBus, LPC, SPI, GPIO. SoundWire.

The V2546 incorporates Radeon Vega 6 graphics operating at up to 1.5 GHz and supports up to 4 independent displays with a maximum resolution of 4096 × 2160 pixels. Supported technologies include DirectX 12, OpenCL, OpenGL, and the Vulkan API.
