MSM5200 (Mobile Station Modem 200) was a family of mobile WCDMA 3G system-on-chips introduced by Qualcomm in 2001.

Overview

Introduced by Qualcomm in 2001, 5200 incorporated SnapTrack GPS positioning, Bluetooth, and a number of multimedia features such as Qtunes MPEG-1, MP3, Compact Media Extension (CME), and Musical Instrument Digital Interface (MIDI) multimedia software.
