MSM3100 (Mobile Station Modem 3100) was Qualcomm's sixth generation of mobile system-on-a-chip introduced in 1999. 3100 introduced a number of enhancements over the 3000 chipsets including a new lower power Vocoder DSP, general purpose ADC, Universal Serial Bus, and more general purpose I/O pins. Qualcomm later released the MSM5105 family, a CDMA2000 derivative of this family.
