MSM5200 (Mobile Station Modem 5200) was a family of 32-bit ARM mobile system on chips with WCDMA 3G capabilities designed by Qualcomm and introduced in 2001.
Overview[edit]
Introduced by Qualcomm in 2001, 5200 incorporated SnapTrack GPS positioning, Bluetooth, and a number of multimedia features such as Qtunes MPEG-1, MP3, Compact Media Extension (CME), and Musical Instrument Digital Interface (MIDI) multimedia software.
