MSM3100 (Mobile Station Modem 3100) was a sixth generation family of 32-bit ARM mobile system on chips with IS-95 (cdmaOne) capabilities designed by Qualcomm and introduced in 1999. The 3100 introduced a number of enhancements over the 3000 chipsets including a new lower power Vocoder DSP, general purpose ADC, Universal Serial Bus, and more general purpose I/O pins. Qualcomm later released the MSM5105 family, a CDMA2000 derivative of this family.
