Post-K Computer is a planned successor to the K Computer set to commence operation around 2021 at RIKEN. Post-K is expected to deliver around 100x the application performance of K.

Post-K is the planned successor to the K Computer. Unlike K which is based on SPARC64, Post-K is an ARM-based supercomputer designed based on a custom microprocessor that implements ARMv8-A with 512-bit SVE vector support. Post-K targets around 100x the application performance of K and is expected to have a power consumption of around 30-40 MW.
