Broadwell EX (Broadwell EXpandable) is the code name for Intel's series of highest-performance enterprise-level server multiprocessors based on the Broadwell microarchitecture as part of the Brickland serving as a successor to Haswell EX. Broadwell EX processors are fabricated on a 14 nm process, incorporate up to 24 cores, and support up to 3 TiB of memory. These chips support up to 8-way multiprocessing and up to 24 cores. Broadwell EX-based chips are manufactured on a 14 nm process and utilize the Wellsburg chipset. Broadwell EX-based models are branded as Xeon E7 v4.
