The Cosmos Platform is an umbrella term used to group all the various Cortex cores such as the Cortex-A72, Cortex-A75, and Cortex-A53 when they were used specifically for infrastructure applications such as top-of-rack switches, routers, and servers. The term was announced by Arm at TechCon 2018 when they introduced the Neoverse in order to group together everything that came prior to Ares.
