Jazelle-DBX (Jazelle Direct Bytecode eXecution) or simplyJazelle is an ARM instruction set extension intended for the acceleration of Java program. Jazelle was introduced in ARMv5TEJ.

The introduction of Just-In-Time (JIT) compilers along with faster processors and larger capacity memory have diminished the value proposition of this extension. Today, Jazelle is largely obsolete.
