Thumb Execution Environment (ThumbEE) also called Jazelle-RCT (Jazelle Runtime Compilation Target) was an ARM ISA extension designed to aid Just-In-Time (JIT) or Ahead-Of-Time (AOT) compilers by reducing the effective compiled code size, reducing memory footprint and immproving power efficiency. ThumbEE was introduced with the ARMv7-A.
