The Cosmos Platform is an umbrella term used to group all the various Cortex cores such as the Cortex-A72, Cortex-A75, and Cortex-A53 when they were used specifically for infestructure applications such as top-of-rack switches, routers, and servers. The term was announced by Arm at TechCon 2018 with the introduction of the Neoverse and new microarchitectures specifically designed for server workloads, starting with Ares
