Westmere was the microarchitecture for Intel's 32 nm process for desktops and servers. Westmere was introduced in 2010 as a process shrink of Nehalem which introduced a number enhancements.

For desktop and mobile, Westmere was branded as 1st Generation Intel Core processors.
