Iris Graphics 540 is an integrated graphics processor introduced by Intel in 2015 for their mainstream mobile Skylake-based microprocessors. This GPU is Skylake's high-end tier GPU incorporating 48 execution units. The 540 GPU is found in mid-range and high-end performance mobile (Skylake U) processors. This GPU incorporates 64 MiB of eDRAM side cache on-chip for added performance.
