Template:mpu VC2588 (Autumn) was a 32-bit ARM microprocessor prototype designed by Acorn in 1985. This processor is based on the ARM1 microarchitecture and was manufactured on VLSI's 3 µm process.
This chip was a prototype with only a few hundred ever fabricated. This chip was never mass produced.
