Ocean Cove is the successor to Golden Cove, a high-performance 10 nm or 7 nm x86 core microarchitecture designed by Intel for an array of server and client products.

History[edit]

Intel unintentionally confirmed Ocean Cove development during a series of job postings in early 2018. Ocean Cove will likely succeed Golden Cove around the 2022-23 timeframe.

Process Technology[edit]

Although not confirmed, it is rumored that Ocean Cove will be fabricated on their 7 nm process.
