Variable-Length Long Instruction Word (VLLIW)

Variable Length Long Instruction Word (VLLIW, VL2IW) or Variable-Length Very Long Instruction Word is a specific type of VLIW instruction set architecture whereby the instruction encoding uses a variable-length instruction format in order to achieve various design goals such as reducing the code size and possibly increase throughput.
