The Iris Pro Graphics (formerly GT3e) is an extended family of integrated graphics processors introduced by Intel in 2012 along with the Haswell microarchitecture. Intel later expanded the series along with the Broadwell-based microprocessors. Unlike the normal Iris Graphics family, the Iris Pro includes a large eDRAM on a discrete die (on the same package). The Pro version, like the normal Iris Graphics, is aimed for the high end microprocessors in an attempt to compete with mid-range dedicated graphics processors.
Families[edit]
The following Iris Pro Graphics families exist:
- Iris Pro Graphics 5200 (Haswell, 22 nm0.022 μm)
2.2e-5 mm - Iris Pro Graphics 6200 (Broadwell, 14 nm0.014 μm)
1.4e-5 mm
