Medfield is the platform name for Intel's low-power platform Bonnell-based SoCs for Mobile Internet Devices (MID) and Ultra Mobile PCs (UMPCs) serving as a successor to Moorestown. Medfield consists of a complete system-on-a-chip based on the Medfield and Penwell cores.
