The ATmega328 is an 8-bit, 32KB Flash, microcontroller, part of the megaAVR MCUs series, developed by Atmel. The microcontroller provides a delicate balance between performance and balance. The microcontroller came into notability when it was selected to be the microcontroller of choice in the Arduino single-board microcontroller.
The ATmega328P is a picoPower microcontroller version of the ATmega328.
