This is the discussion page for the intel/microarchitectures/p6 page.

This page is only about the Pentium II, it seems, and as if Netburst-based Pentium 4 1.4GHz (Willamette) at 180nm (November 2000) followed Pentium II 450MHz (Deschutes) at 250nm (January 1998).

Pentium III Katmai, Coppermine and Tualatin were manufactured with 250nm, 180nm and 130nm processes.

Pentium III introduced SSE SIMD instructions.
