I'm also wondering where this information came from. I for the life of me cannot find information linking the C246 to 'Cannon point'. Obviously need to refine my research skills.

:C246 is known as ''Cannon Point-H'' (WS variant) internally. In Intel's datasheets it would sometimes be listed under the abbreviated name "CNP-H" or "CNP-H/WS". The information came from Intel directly. We planned on having chipset page with the breakdown for those parts but we were too busy with other stuff. We'll add it soon. --[[User:David|David]] ([[User talk:David|talk]]) 11:45, 4 October 2018 (EDT)

Chipset

I recently changed the Chipset name to C246 It was changed back to Cannon Point.

In that case I'd like to suggest that Cannon Point is elaborated on. I find 'Cannon Point' in this case misleading because of the large, almost exclusive, number of motherboards with Cannon Point chipsets that do not support this CPU.

I'm also wondering where this information came from. I for the life of me cannot find information linking the C246 to 'Cannon point'. Obviously need to refine my research skills.

I hope you can understand why I made the mistake I did. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Stewi1014 (talkcontribs)
