The Iris Graphics (formerly GT3) is an extended family of integrated graphics processors introduced by Intel in 2012 along with the Haswell microarchitecture. Intel later expanded the series along with the Broadwell-based microprocessors.
Up until Skylake, the regular iris Graphics families are architecturally identical to the "Pro" version just without the addition of a discrete embedded DRAM die used as an L4$. Starting with Skylake, the regular Iris Graphics also started including embedded DRAM, albeit with a reduced number of execution units (compared to the Skylake "pro" version).
Families[edit]
The following Iris Graphics families exist:
- Iris Graphics (Kaby Lake, 14 nm0.014 μm)
1.4e-5 mm - Iris Graphics (Kaby Lake, 14 nm0.014 μm)
1.4e-5 mm
