The Rockwell PPS-4/2 (PPS-4/2) was a 4-bit microprocessor designed by Rockwell International. Similarly to the Intel 4004, the Rockwell PPS-4 required two additional support chips: a clock generator and ROM memory. The chip came in a 42-pin QIP package. 12 I/O terminals are available for general purpose I/O.

The PPS-4 came in two versions: 10660 and the 12660. The difference between the two is unclear.

The PPS-4/2 (also known by its part number 11660) was a 4 microprocessor designed by Rockwell International and first produced at the 3rd quarter of 1975. The PPS-4 is part of the PPS-4. The PPS-4/2 is the 2nd model from the PPS-4 family. The "/2" was used to indicate that this chip is a two-chip system; Rockwell incorporated the pps-4/10706 clock generator internally. It's full compatible with all the original pps-4/10660 CPU and all the other parts.

THe PPS-4/2 is functionally identical to the pps-4/10660. It can, however, directly drive low-power LED display.
