MOS Technology, Inc. (MOS) is a now-defunct semiconductor company that focused on chips and ICs mainly used in early 8-bit computers. It was also known as Commodore Semiconductor Group (CSG) when Commodore bought it in 1976 to exclusively design chips for their line of computers.
