Electronic Associates, Inc. (EAI) was a major analog computing company during the 1950s and 1960s. At one point EAI became the largest supplier of general-purpose analog computers. During the later 1960s into the 1970s they attempted to transition into hybrid computer. EAI's hybrid computers were still in wide-spread use well into the 1980s. On 07/03/1992 EAI was renamed EA industries Inc. EAI filed for bankruptcy on 06/02/1999, most of the assets were sold to a variety of other firms.
