The '''Iris Graphics''' (formally '''GT3''') is an extended family of [[integrated graphics processor]]s introduced by [[intel|Intel]] in 2012 along with the [[Haswell]] [[microarchitecture]]. Intel later expanded the series along with the [[Broadwell]]-based microprocessors. 

Up until Skylake, the regular iris Graphics families are architecturally identical to the "{{intel|Iris Pro Graphics|Pro}}" version just without the addition of a discrete [[embedded DRAM]] die used as an L4$. Starting with Skylake, the regular Iris Graphics also started including embedded DRAM, albeit with a reduced number of execution units (compared to the Skylake "pro" version).
