The Iris Graphics (formally GT3) is an extended family of integrated graphics processors introduced by Intel in 2012 along with the Haswell microarchitecture. Intel later expanded the series along with the Broadwell-based microprocessors. The regular iris Graphics families are architecturally identical to the "Pro" version just without the addition of a discrete embedded DRAM die used as an L4$.
