So it appears that some of the preliminary datasheet information says the chip has 42 brics for 336 cores. This is likely where everyone else got their core count info from. However, I have a tray of these chips with the final datasheet info as well as a development board and they invalidate that assertion as they appear to have 43 brics for 344 which is what the final datasheet says as well.
