== Overview ==
Fabricated on [[TSMC]]s enhanced [[N7P]] process, the A13 integrates 8.5 billion [[transistors]] to feature two [[big cores|big]] {{apple|Lightning}} cores operating at up to 2.65 GHz and four [[little cores|little]] {{apple|Thunder}} high-efficiency cores operating at up to 1.80 GHz.

Apple claims a performance gain of 20% speed and 30% lower power consumption than its predecessor {{\\|A12}}.
