The Iris Pro Graphics (formally GT3e) is an extended family of integrated graphics processors introduced by Intel in 2012 along with the Haswell microarchitecture. Intel later expanded the series along with the Broadwell-based microprocessors. Unlike the normal Iris Graphics family, the Iris Pro includes a large eDRAM on a discrete die (on the same package). The Pro version, like the normal Iris Graphics is aimed for the high end microprocessors in an attempt to compete with mid-range dedicated graphics processors.

Microarchitectures

The Iris Pro Graphics can be found on the high-end Haswell and Broadwell-based microprocessors.
