The ON OWNER event triggers whenever a user on a channel has been elevated to the level of channel owner. You can use $opnick to get the nickname being given owner status.

Synopsis[edit]

ON <level>:OWNER:<#[,#]>:<commands>

Parameters[edit]

<level>The corresponding access levels for the event to trigger.

<matchtext>The text to match in the event..

<#[,#]>The channel, or channels where the event listens.

#Any channel if left by itself, otherwise refers to a specific channel
[,#]List of specific channel names

Example[edit]

Message the channel where the event occurs:

ON *:OWNER:#:msg # $opnick $+ : Congratulations on becoming an owner of # $+ !
