Loongson Technology Co. Ltd. is a Chinese fabless semiconductor company that primarily focuses on high-performance consumer microprocessors. Loongson was founded in April of 2010 through the cooperation of the Institute of Computing Technology of the Chinese Academy of Sciences (ICT) Godson development team along with the Beijing Municipal Government in an effort to redirect the Godson project form research and development to commercialization.
