The ITT 7150 is a family of 4-bit microcontrollers developed by ITT Semiconductors. The microcontrollers were made using PMOS technology. Due to their relatively lower cost compared to most other general-purpose microcontrollers of the time, this family of chips found their way many home appliances such as washers, dryers, dishwasher, and many other products. This chip dominated the European appliances market for a period of time before entering the US market.
