Interesting edit to $sslcertsha256 - but as you point out it isn't a great fit on this particular page. It is very easy to create a whole new page (or pages) - but it is a bit more complicated to add the links to the various index / Toc pages so that the new page is visible. In the Toc panel on the right there is a Security section where this would fit - perhaps under a title Encrypting your IRC connection. (And it could do with some context - why encrypt, how to know / define whether a server supports encryption, how to connect etc. Making a personal SSL certificate is one option - and a useful one.)
